{"id":219,"date":"2021-10-19T18:40:06","date_gmt":"2021-10-19T18:40:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.faustocaricato.it\/?page_id=219"},"modified":"2022-01-04T16:15:37","modified_gmt":"2022-01-04T16:15:37","slug":"le-cento-fonti-performance-sonora-immersiva","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.faustocaricato.it\/en\/le-cento-fonti-performance-sonora-immersiva\/","title":{"rendered":"Le Cento Fonti &#8211; performance sonora immersiva"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em><strong>The hundred Sources&nbsp;<\/strong><\/em>\u00e8 una performance&nbsp;immersiva che&nbsp;invita lo spettatore al centro di un&nbsp;paesaggio sonoro&nbsp;in grado di regalare un\u2019esperienza immersiva di ascolto e&nbsp;di&nbsp;riflessione&nbsp;incentrata sul tema dell\u2019acqua come fonte di vita e di continuo rinnovamento.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It comes from research on the soundscape and the musical qualities of natural environments, a research that led the artist Fausto Caricato to engage in&nbsp;<em>Soundwalk<\/em><em>s<\/em>&nbsp;in the mountain woods of Asciano Pisano, to record the \"voices\" of the cisterns and the numerous waterways: the latest evidence, together with the medieval ruins, of communities of mystics and hermits who lived alongside them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The performance took place at the Viscount's Castle in Pavia for the inauguration of the Fons-Vitae exhibition by Antonio Ievolella in collaboration with the Culture Sector of the Municipality of Pavia. A system of ten loudspeakers was placed on the border of the portico (south side and east side) to exploit the natural acoustics of the portico itself and allow sound to be projected even in the center of the courtyard. This disposition allowed to form a path in which the spectator experiences, while walking, the sound of the different sources and cisterns spatialized and in constant change.
